IBPS Clerk CRP-XVI Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Update

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced an increase in the total number of vacancies for the Clerk CRP-XVI recruitment for the year 2026. A total of 11,663 positions for Customer Service Associates (Clerk) are now available for eligible candidates across India. This recruitment process is open to individuals holding a bachelor's degree who also possess computer knowledge and proficiency in the local language of the state or union territory they are applying for.

The selection process for these permanent positions involves a multi-stage assessment, starting with a preliminary written examination followed by a main written examination. Candidates who qualify in these stages will then undergo a local language test, a medical examination, and document verification. The age limit for applicants is set between 20 and 28 years as of August 1, 2026, with standard age relaxations applicable as per government rules. Interested candidates should ensure they meet all eligibility criteria and complete their applications through the official IBPS portal. The preliminary exam is tentatively scheduled for October 2026, with the main exam following in December 2026.
