About this Notification
The Haryana Police has announced a recruitment drive for 170 Special Police Officer (SPO) positions on a temporary basis. This recruitment is open to Army Ex-Servicemen or individuals with experience in the HISF or HAP Battalions who have passed the 12th grade. Candidates are required to appear in person at their respective District Police Control Room on November 5, 2026, for the application and selection process.
The selection process involves document verification, a medical examination, and character and antecedent verification. Selected candidates will undergo a 15-day capsule training course. The position offers a monthly honorarium of Rs. 20,000, along with a one-time uniform allowance of Rs. 3,000. Candidates should note that while they will not be posted at their home police station, preference for the home district may be given based on post availability. Applicants must bring their original documents, attested photocopies, an affidavit, and four passport-size photographs to the venue.
