JKSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) Recruitment 2026

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced a recruitment drive for 458 Junior Engineer (Civil) positions for the year 2026. These permanent roles are distributed across the Jal Shakti Department and the Public Works (R&B) Department. Candidates interested in these positions must possess a Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering to be eligible for consideration. The selection process for these vacancies will involve a written examination, a medical examination, and a document verification stage.

The application process is scheduled to commence on November 30, 2026, and will remain open until December 29, 2026. Applicants are required to pay an application fee, which varies based on their category, with rates set at 600 for unreserved candidates and 500 for SC, ST, EWS, and PH (Divyang) candidates. The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 40 years as of January 1, 2026, with additional age relaxation provided as per government rules. Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level 6, with a salary range of Rs. 35,400 to 1,12,400.
