RRB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026 - Revised Exam Date Notice

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a revised schedule for the Junior Engineer (CEN 04/2026) recruitment process. This recruitment drive aims to fill 4,029 vacancies across various roles, including Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant. The positions are permanent and open to candidates holding an Engineering Diploma, B.Tech, or B.Sc in a relevant field. The selection process involves two stages of Computer Based Tests (CBT), followed by a medical examination and document verification. Candidates should note that the CBT-I exam is now scheduled for 27-28 October 2026. Applicants are advised to monitor the official RRB website for the release of admit cards, which will be available four days prior to the exam date. The application process is now closed, and candidates who previously applied should ensure their details are correct, as the correction window was provided in September 2026. A portion of the application fee is refundable to candidates who appear for the Stage I examination.
